Job description

BLH Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager supporting a federal health communications contract. This position will provide support for communications strategy, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, social media, analytics, and content development for a high-visibility federal program.
The ideal candidate is a senior communications or marketing professional who can step quickly into an active client environment, manage day-to-day communications activities independently, and provide both hands-on execution and strategic guidance. The role requires strong writing and editing skills, federal or public-sector communications experience, sound judgment, and the ability to translate complex health, research, and policy information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support communications, public affairs, social media, marketing outreach, and editorial activities for a federal health communications program.
  • Develop and refine messaging strategies that promote federal research, tools, resources, and program priorities.
  • Draft, edit, and review digital content, stakeholder communications, social media copy, web content, talking points, fact sheets, newsletters, and other outreach materials.
  • Manage and schedule social media outreach, including campaign tagging, platform recommendations, and posting support.
  • Conduct audience, market, and stakeholder research to identify engagement opportunities and improve outreach effectiveness.
  • Use analytics and AI-enabled tools to assess stakeholder sentiment, audience behavior, digital engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Track, analyze, and report communications metrics, recommending evidence-based improvements to messaging and outreach.
  • Coordinate with client, creative, editorial, digital, and subject matter expert teams to produce accurate, accessible, 508-compliant materials.
  • Manage a team of marketing and communications specialists.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, public health, public policy, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant communications, marketing, public affairs, digital strategy, or stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Experience supporting federal agencies, public-sector programs, government contractors, health communications, or complex mission-driven organizations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and message-development skills, including the ability to translate technical or research-oriented information for varied audiences.
  • Experience managing or supporting social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or similar channels.
