Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
  • 3 years of experience working on a user-facing consumer product.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, track record of innovation and developing groundbreaking product experiences.
  • Deep understanding of the evolving landscape of digital video and television: Knowledge of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies in the streaming and connected TV space.
  • Proven ability to set and articulate a clear product goal and strategy, Demonstrated experience in defining long-term roadmaps and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze market data, user behavior, and technical constraints to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with UX to build seamless voice experiences across hardware remotes and in-app software microphones.
  • Elevate TV voice usage by improving ecosystem quality, collaborating with engineering to optimize latency, transcription accuracy, and fulfillment, while ensuring correct query routing by third-party OEMs.
  • Partner across teams to expand voice capabilities from search into direct, in-app actions, such as writing comments, purchasing products, and app navigating features like going to watch history or managing subscriptions.
  • Collaborate with Living Room Devices and Ecosystem teams to unlock integrations with Gemini and device partners, pilot OS-level features within Google TV and lead the strategy to scale these across major third-party platforms like Samsung, LG, and Roku.
  • Define the end-to-end user journey, including micro-interactions (e.g. press-and-hold), voice plate UI states (listening, processing), and user education to drive discovery and adoption.
