Job description

Role Title: Social Media Content Creator, Summer Internship to Fulltime

Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Temporary Internship, Part-Time or Full-Time Based on Availability. With Potential for Long-Term Employment

Internship Term: Through July 31, 2026

Compensation Range: $15-20/hour + Performance-Based Growth Opportunities

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, Field-Based + Office Collaboration

This is a summer internship role that runs through July 31, 2026, with the potential to be offered a permanent position if you perform well, fit the team, and prove you can own the role.

Role Overview:

As our Social Media Content Creator, you'll capture real jobsite activity and turn it into engaging content that builds trust, drives engagement, and grows our brand.

You won't just be posting content, you'll be helping build a content engine that fuels our marketing and generates inbound opportunities.

This internship is designed to give the right person real-world experience, clear performance expectations, and the opportunity to earn consideration for a permanent role based on results, consistency, and overall fit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capture video and photo content at active job sites (2-3 times per week)
  • Create short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
  • Assist with long-form YouTube content including project spotlights and homeowner education
  • Edit raw footage into engaging, high-performing content
  • Manage and execute the social media posting calendar
  • Write captions, titles, and descriptions that drive engagement
  • Monitor comments and messages and engage with the audience
  • Identify and create new content ideas based on real projects and trends
  • Help optimize YouTube content (titles, thumbnails, structure)
  • Track content performance and improve based on results
  • Help in other areas of Marketing such as events, including loading and unloading, driving our event truck, set up and tear down, etc. as needed
