Your role as an LCSW will include a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing patient care and treatment quality:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patient needs, and design personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based, solution-focused interventions.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)—to guide clients through their mental health challenges.
• Maintain diligent clinical records that comply with regulatory standards, ensuring timely documentation of patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team comprising clinical therapists, psychiatrists, and other health professionals to provide holistic and coordinated patient care.
• Facilitate case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to enhance the quality of care delivered to patients.
• Empower patients and their families through education and support, helping them understand their mental health conditions and available treatment options.

As an LCSW at Astor Youth & Families Services, you will work primarily with children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding them through their recovery processes, ensuring they receive the tools and support necessary to thrive. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Texas.

Experience working in outpatient settings, particularly involving detoxification services, is highly desirable.
