Job description


We are seeking an outgoing and energetic people to join our Summer Program team! As a Youth Development Professional (YDP) your top priority will be to ensure the safety of our Club members ages 6-18.  YDP's will oversee members activities and facilitate Boys & Girls Club National and local programming.  As a YDP you will be responsible for the day to day classroom activities in a busy, nonprofit youth organization.  Locations include our Main Clubhouse @ 260 Scott Way, Natcher Elementary and Bristow Elementary.

Responsibilities: 
  • Facilitate activities, games, sports, and other outdoor activities
  • Assist in creating daily and weekly schedules catered to each group of members, their ages, and interests
  • Monitor members and escort them to various activities and field trips
  • Provide fun learning opportunities 
  • Set up, take down, and maintain Club equipment
Qualifications
  • Must pass a background check
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Organized and responsible
  • Ability to work with a team
Hours are 30-40 hours per week beginning May 26th - July 31st.  All staff will be off June 29th - July 3rd.
