Job Title

Lift Truck Operator| Thursday- Sunday

Position Overview

Position hours: Thursday - 11am - 7pm Friday/Saturday - 7am - 7pm Sunday - 7am - 3pm.

LTO/Squeeze

I. Receive Yarn

A. Yarn Arrival

1. Get yarn IPT from Yarn Clerks tray on univax, clerk goes on Shopflex

and puts the trailer number in yard location.

a. Go into Inventory

b. Yarn Inventory

c. Receiving

d. Pending Receipts

1. Click on trailer number

2. Select yarn location/no task to unload.

A. If trailer number does not show but IPT does go to:

1. Inventory

2. Yarn Inventory

3. Shipping

4. Maintenance

A. Put in IPT number - search

B. Put in Trailer number - Save

3.(Interplant Transfer) log IPT information on Yarn Receiving Report

A. Date/Time arrival and unloaded

B. Trailer Number

C. Yarn Mill came from

D. Lot Number and amount of cases

E. Yarn Location placed in.

Unloading Yarn Trailers

Give trailer number wanted to Shuttle Driver (spotter), Shuttle Drivers are referred to asSpotters when performing Plant 4 duties.

2.Get Yarn Interplant Transfer (IPT) from Receiving Desk area.

a. In shop flex the trailer number must show a dock location before it can be unloaded.

Locate yarn into warehouse.

Clerk or shop flex system will assign location to each yarn lot unloaded.

Clerk will ask LTO to help unload trailers if he or she is busy or has a heavy

backlog of trailers, or if tufting is in need of yarn on trailer. (SeeSH201P)

2. Yarn is located by scanning the case and the location sign.

To prevent damage or contamination to yarn during transporting to warehouse

locations.

Make repairs to cases before transporting.

Avoid (when possible), dragging or sliding cases on floor.

Use caution at all stages of yarn movements, to avoid dropping or busting

yarn cases.

Yarn case (stretched wrap) that cannot be repaired, should be repacked in boxes.

In warehouse locations stack yarn in straight rows, with labels to the outside of row.

1. Stack yarnboxes4high with 2 on top off set.

2. Stack stretch wrap yarn with 36 cones, 3 high with 2 on top off set.

3. Stack stretch wrap yarn with 48 cones 2 high with 1 on top off set.

(SEEEXAMPLES BELOW)

Mark the lot number, initials of locator and numbers of cases, date, and location onone case at end of row.

After trailer is unloaded, if there are damages on the trailer, LTO must fill out the Damaged Trailer checklist sheet and notify the spotter to put out of service and notify supervisor and Lead.
