Job description

Location: Irving, TX
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Temporary Assignment with Potential for Permanent Hire

We are currently seeking experienced Class A CDL Yard Hustler/Shuttle Drivers to join our team in Irving, TX. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, Monday through Friday opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday
  • 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
  • 40 hours per week
  • Please note: Start and end times may vary based on business needs.

Pay & Benefits

  • $27.00 per hour
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours worked per week
  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • 6-month temporary assignment with potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs
  • No road test required

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform safe and efficient yard moves.
  • Shuttle trailers between the main facility and a nearby cross-dock location.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Keep the yard organized and operate safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Clean driving record
  • Previous yard hostler/hustler and shuttle driving experience preferred
  • Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces
  • Dependable with a strong safety mindset
  • Able to work overtime as needed
