Job description

Envision Innovative Solutions is a trusted technology and engineering partner delivering mission critical capabilities to government and commercial clients. Founded in 2006, we specialize in cybersecurity, information assurance, systems engineering, enterprise IT and network support, C5ISR, and software development, with internal R&D in extended reality (XR)—including VR, AR, and MR—for training and simulation.

Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This is onsite position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates an organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
  • Captures, understands, translates, and documents customer requirements.
  • Defines system and product requirements; and generates mechanical, electrical, and software performance and reliability specifications and requirements.
  • Creates and maintains programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.
  • Manages and documents system configurations and oversees all transitions into production.
  • Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful project implementation, and performs post project end user support.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering
  • Strong ability to design, integrate, and test complex hardware and software systems
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting system configurations, and supporting system implementation.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret with the ability to obtain TS-SCI
