ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a hands-on Developer in Columbus, Ohio, who is passionate about building modern, scalable applications and driving projects from design through deployment. In this on-site role, you will collaborate closely with architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product teams to deliver robust cloud-native solutions, while helping to shape technical direction and development best practices. You will have the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, leveraging modern frameworks, AWS services, and CI/CD tools to deliver impactful business solutions in an Agile environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of new features and enhancements across existing applications.
  • Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Develop and enhance REST and GraphQL APIs that support enterprise applications and integrations.
  • Implement automated testing, code quality checks, and security scanning within development workflows.
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services and container-based technologies.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous delivery of high-value software solutions.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, Java, and/or Groovy development.
  • Hands-on experience with React, Spring Boot, Node.js, and Grails.
  • Expertise designing and developing REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience building cloud-native applications and working within AWS environments.
  • Proficiency with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and AppSync.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines, preferably Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database design, development, and data modeling.
  • TypeScript development experience (nice to have).
  • Experience with Apache Kafka, Camel-K, Informatica, or React Native (nice to have).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, Helm, and AWS CDK (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with Figma design systems and UI development workflows (nice to have).
