Location: Orange County, CA
Compensation: $85,000 base salary + commission (high earning potential)

Most estimator roles are transactional—write scopes, send estimates, and move on. This role is different.

We are a growing restoration contractor based in Orange County focused on delivering high-quality work and maximizing performance across residential and insurance-based restoration projects. We are looking for an estimator who wants to take ownership of their work, drive profitability, and grow with a company that is scaling.

This role is best suited for someone who wants to become highly skilled in restoration estimating and be compensated based on performance and results.


Position Overview

The Restoration Estimator is responsible for creating accurate and profitable estimates, managing scopes of work, and working directly with insurance adjusters and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

Create detailed and accurate estimates using Xactimate and Symbility for water, fire, and reconstruction projects.
Review and develop scopes of work to ensure completeness and profitability.
Communicate directly with insurance adjusters to negotiate and finalize estimates.
Identify and manage supplements to recover all eligible revenue.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment between estimating and production.
Maintain organized, complete, and up-to-date job documentation.


Qualifications

Experience in restoration estimating, including water, fire, or reconstruction projects.
Familiarity with Xactimate is required and Symbility.
Understanding of insurance claims processes, including supplements.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and follow up consistently.
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary of $85,000 plus commission tied to performance. High performers have the ability to exceed $120,000+ annually.
