Job description

Salary: $60,000 - 75,000 DOE

Title: Estimator

Location: Denver, CO


We help homeowners and businesses restore their properties - and peace of mind - after unexpected damage. As anEstimator with Paul Davis Restoration, youll work with customers who have experienced damage from water, fire, mold, storms, or other incidents. This is a key role where youll support customers during challenging situations and help guide the restoration process. Were looking for reliable, hardworking professionals who are dedicated to helping others and take pride in their work.


What does an Estimator do?

The Estimator works with property owners, insurance adjusters, and project managers to assess damage from events such as fire or water loss. In this role, you will use tools like Matterport to document job sites, evaluate the scope of work, and prepare accurate estimates for restoration projects. You will also communicate with insurance professionals to review and finalize estimates and help move projects forward.


Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate with adjusters, insurance partners, and team members throughout each project
  • Prepare, review, and update estimates using tools and project information (e.g., photos, measurements, and plans)
  • Track and meet goals for estimate turnaround time, quality, and customer service
  • Document and manage change orders and estimate updates as needed
  • Ensure projects meet company guidelines, timelines, and profitability goals
  • Follow program and insurance requirements
  • Assist with project documentation and support the collections process


Basic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience as a restoration/mitigation estimator or insurance professional
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent industryexperience
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well on a team
  • Able to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and solve problems
  • Familiarity with different insurance carriers and their required guidelines
  • Familiarity with Matterport and Hover software required
  • Familiarity with XactAnalysis and XactContents
  • Familiarity with MICA and dry out logs
  • Familiarity with Symbility and Claims Workspace


Working Conditions

  • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods while working on a computer
