Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Foreman is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day job requirements progress according to the job schedule and serves as a point of contact for field personnel. The Foreman is also expected to assist in establishing and growing the company business and may be asked to participate in equipment selection, staffing, and production rates.
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:
- Support the Superintendent with field management of soil nail walls, micro-piles, tiebacks, and a variety of geotechnical construction projects.
- Responsibility for project production, safety, and profitability.
- Ensure projects are executed with proper quality control.
- Management of onsite personnel, including operators, laborers, etc., and ensuring that jobs are staffed adequately daily.
- Maintain, manage, and teach proper maintenance of onsite equipment.
- Coordination and communication with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Operations Manager.
- Report to site superintendent any job-related progress, problems, or difficulties.
- Coordinating tasks for the day, creating schedules for workers, overseeing quality of the site.
- Actively engage in the construction industry general knowledge and skill development for career advancement as superintendent
