Salary Range: Commensurate with education and experience, starting at $125,000 - $170,000 per year Remote (Work From Home) (Texas Area) SUMMARY The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for identifying and developing new market opportunities for plastic additives in the North American market. Additionally, this person will be excellent at maintaining and further developing existing customer relationships. This individual will play a key role in the company's growth strategy by identifying and evaluating new market segments, developing go-to-market plans, and leading the launch of new products in these markets.

This person should be excellent at working with customers to define problem statements and be technical enough to work with engineering and R&D to develop polymer additive-based solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *Other duties may be assigned . Achieve an annual budget of "net sales," "sales quantity," and "material margin" of the responsible products.

Make an annual sales plan and budget (*1) of the responsible products through discussion with a supervisor and the company budgeting process and to have authorization of the company. Manage customer relationship of accounts in responsible and all businesses derived from relationship with assigned accounts and new customers including potential customers, i.e., taking a lead and negotiate to collect a past due AR, to manage a product delivery to meet a customer's requirement, to make a contract and so on. Responsible for identifying and developing new customer relationships to drive business growth

Establish strategic partnerships with product end users to thoroughly investigate and understand their needs, enabling the provision of solution-based services. Set up and optimize a transaction scheme of each of the responsible product (pricing, costing (*2), sales channel, distribution, contracting, etc.) in consultation with the product line manager if a product falls under other product line manager's responsibility and put it in document/chart to obtain supervisor's approval. Create and submit a weekly business activity report to a supervisor, senior management, other sales staff and other relevant teams/persons if any

Develop up-to-date understanding of plastic additives market (users, competitors, products, pricing, costing, applications, technologies, patents, demands, capacities, demand trend, technical trend, etc..). Develop a middle term (5 years) business plan and strategy of plastic additives through discussion with leadership and to take actions to actualize the plan. Contribute to the sales team's goal accomplishment

Assist Technical and Marketing Mgr. in development and implementation of development plans as needed. Active, on-going interaction with the customer service team and procurement/accounting departments.

Assist other teams in the company to ensure accurate and efficient operations. Assist our affiliate companies under a supervisor's direction. Assist and contribute to the company's activities.
