Job description

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 12+ months

Responsibilities

  • The Systems Architect will design and implement service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and software as a service using IBM DataPower, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Identity Manager.
  • The Systems Architect will design and implement secure applications using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, single sign, OAuth, and multi-factor authentication.
  • The Systems Architect will be the main technical architect on projects that require a thorough  understanding of systems architecture,  engineering, administration, configuration,  troubleshooting, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance and security procedures.
  • The Systems Architect will perform XSLT programming to create custom stylesheets for IBM DataPower, perform application load balancing using Kemp Application delivery controller, and initiate application deployment and monitoring using continuous integration systems and application monitoring tools.
  • The Systems Architect will architect, develop, and debug Java applications.
  • The Systems Architect will create diagrams and documentation for application and infrastructure architecture.                 

Skills Needed

  • 84 months of experience architecting service-oriented architecture, platform as a service, infrastructure as a service and software as a service using IBM DataPower, WSO2 API Manager, and WSO2 Identity Manager.                                 
  • 84 months of experience designing secure applications using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption, and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML, OAuth, multi-factor authentication                                 
  • 84 months of experience as lead technical architect on technical projects designing systems architecture, and managing configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance and security procedures.                                       
  • 36 months of experience with designing native cloud systems using services in AWS.                        
  • 36 months of experience with application deployment and monitoring using continuous integration systems and application monitoring tools.
