Job description

As a success coach, you will facilitate students developing, experiencing and iterating their own personalized learning plan that includes in-person, online and independent learning opportunities. You will help them to set goals and track progress, so they are empowered to find their voice and inspire their passion.

You will help design and facilitate daily practices that support team collaboration, leading through service, self-reflection and mindfulness, all based on the leading scientific research into brain function and social/emotional development.

Your role as a success coach is not to impact knowledge, per se. That is the role of the school's learning partners. Your role is to facilitate personal growth and development, critical and first principles thinking, and great communication skills, including verbal and written storytelling and persuasion.

You derive joy from facilitating journeys of learning and person growth for middle-school kids. You are schooled in evidence-based practices to develop young minds, promote social-emotional development, learn life skills including mindful awareness and resilience, and inspire passion.

You have experience in, and a passion for teaching (although not necessarily as a teacher, per se), coaching (although maybe not as a formal coach), and mentoring. Your formal education may or may not be in education. Most important, you believe in the power of learning.
