Job description

We are seeking a motivated individual for a full-time Facilities Support position. Th ideal applicant enjoys being around children, works well independently, is physically fit, and thrives as part of a team. Strong time management skills, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up meeting rooms according to event order forms
  • Setup tables & chairs, sign holders, cones for meeting and or parking events in a safe manner.
  • Break down meeting rooms, collect cones and return items to storage area in a neat and organized fashion.
  • Maintain inventory of all items so they are ready for next event.
  • Assist with the parking and traffic operations ensuring order and safety in parking lots.
  • Clean exterior of building if needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
  • Assist with snow removal from sidewalks when required
  • Perform related work as required


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to practice safe work habits
  • Work with little to no supervision
  • Ability to manage time efficiently
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
  • Basic math skills
  • Handle basic maintenance, building repairs
  • Ability to respond for emergency work schedule outside of regular hours
  • Ability to pass background check

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma/GED preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Some standing, walking, moving, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
