Job description

Lake Forest School District 67 is seeking a Wrestling Coach at Deer Path Middle School.
Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate and plan with other wrestling coaches at Deer Path
  • Organize and facilitate practices and matches
  • Communicate with parents, participants and fellow coaches
  • Plan and execute skills and training programs specific for the level of athlete
  • Prepare student-athletes for competition
  • Help oversee the daily maintenance of equipment and cleaning of wrestling facilities
  • Have appropriate ethical behavior and instill those behaviors in our athletes

Qualifications:
  • Experience working with student-athletes and wrestling - preferred
  • Ability to work cooperatively with administrators, coaches, parents, and student-athletes
  • Illinois Teaching Certificate registered in Lake County, ASEP certificate (American Sport Education Program) - preferred
  • IESA Concussion Certified
Stipend: Per the LFEA CBA
