Xcite Automotive is hiring a PPF Installer at our partner dealership in Orlando, FL!

Job Description: As a PPF Installer at Xcite Automotiveyou will play a key role in protecting and enhancing customer and inventory vehicles through high-quality paint protection film installations. This position is responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces, installing PPF with precision, and delivering clean, consistent, premium-quality finishes in a fast-paced dealership and automotive reconditioning environment.

The ideal candidate is an experienced PPF installer with strong technical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to producing professional results. The PPF Installer must be able to work efficiently while maintaining consistent quality standards and take pride in delivering a finished product that meets dealership and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality paint protection film installations on customer and inventory vehicles.
  • Install PPF with precision, efficiency, and consistency while maintaining professional finish standards.
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces prior to installation to ensure proper film adhesion and a clean, flawless finish.
  • Thoroughly clean and inspect surfaces to identify contaminants, imperfections, or areas requiring additional preparation before film application.
  • Install PPF on a variety of vehicle panels and surfaces while following proper installation techniques.
  • Work with both bulk film and pre-cut PPF patterns when required.
  • Properly stretch, position, squeegee, and finish film to minimize visible edges, bubbles, lifting, wrinkles, and other installation imperfections.
  • Inspect completed installations to ensure the film is properly positioned, adhered, and finished according to company quality standards.
  • Identify and correct installation issues before completing the vehicle.
  • Follow dealership and company procedures to ensure assigned vehicles are completed accurately and within expected turnaround times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-controlled installation environment.
  • Properly clean, maintain, and store PPF installation tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Safely handle film, installation solutions, cutting tools, and other products used during the installation process.
  • Communicate vehicle condition, installation concerns, or additional preparation needs to management when necessary.
  • Work efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Assist other detailing and reconditioning team members as needed to support overall workflow.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a professional work environment.

Minimum Qualifications / Must-Haves

  • Minimum 2 years of professional automotive Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of PPF installation techniques and vehicle surface preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently produce clean, professional, high-quality installations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to identify installation imperfections and make appropriate corrections.
  • Strong understanding of proper film handling, positioning, stretching, squeegee techniques, and edge finishing.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet vehicle production and turnaround expectations.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment.
  • Professional attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
