Based in Franklin, TN (remote eligible), you will collaborate closely with Service and IT teams, driving innovation in vehicle diagnostics and service solutions.
[Responsibilities] - Engineer robust interfaces between Windows software and vehicle diagnostic hardware to ensure seamless, reliable data transfers and device recognition. - Lead the design, development, and enhancement of desktop applications using WPF and WinForms to provide an integrated platform for dealer portals and service tools. - Manage the packaging and deployment of applications via MSI installers, guaranteeing smooth delivery and installation across diverse dealership environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues, including Windows OS stability, driver conflicts, and hardware connectivity challenges. - Maintain and optimize backend SQL databases and SSIS packages, supporting critical data like Service Manuals, Recalls, and TSBs for aftermarket subscriptions. - Collaborate onsite with Service and IT departments to align software capabilities with evolving automotive technology and diagnostic needs.
