Location: Old Greenwich, CT; New York, NY; or West Palm Beach, FL

The Role: WorldQuant is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Project Manager. A successful candidate must possess strong project management, analytical and communication skills. Candidates will have a research mindset, be a self-starter, and be a creative and persevering deep thinker who is motivated by unsolved challenges.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide extensive operational support to our Meta Alpha Model business, which combines individual alpha signals into meta signals
  • Support technical and strategic initiatives and related operational efforts across the Meta Alpha Model ecosystem
  • Align and realign deliverables with program goals, outcomes, and roadmap priorities
  • Manage resources across multiple projects and workstreams supporting Meta Alpha operations
  • Identify, assess, and help mitigate project risks and issues
  • Design, implement, and maintain reports, web-based dashboards, and the underlying data in MySQL, Vertica, PostgreSQL databases for internal users,
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve operational business processes supporting the Meta Alpha Model business
  • Oversee and support business process changes
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Prepare and manage stakeholder communications including presentations and newsletters

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering)
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or managerial position
  • Proven experience in financial markets of investment management industry
  • Strong evidence of being a self-starter and problem solver
  • Interest in the Finance/Tech industry
  • Excellent project management abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Mature and thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
  • Experience with Python, Jupyter notebooks, and dashboard solutions

Pay Transparency:

WorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits.

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state.  We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on job function and level, benchmarked against similar stage organizations.  When finalizing an offer, we will take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is $125,000- $150,000 USD.
