We are hiring a Driver to join our team! Job Type: Full Time

What You'll Do

The Warehouse Driver is the face of the World Electric, driving a company provided truck (24' state body truck) to transport materials to our valued customers. This position's responsibilities include operating company equipment in a safe manner, while ensuring that our product is in perfect condition and ready for our customers. You will:

  • Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner, following all state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with sales associates or manager through problem solving to meet customer needs.
  • Acts in a helpful and cooperative manner towards customers and World associates.
  • Ensure truck is in safe operating condition and maintains a clean appearance.
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • Load and unload trucks with equipment.
  • Construct pallets based on delivery area preventing stock from being damaged on delivery.
  • Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment. This includes following Safety Procedures and wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Clean Motor Vehicle Record Required

Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequently requires standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching with arms, and constant use of hands.
  • Continuous mental and visual alertness to maintain safety and achieve accuracy.
  • Requires flexibility and mobility in body movements.
  • Removing gates from flatbed trucks
  • Occasionally, may be required to lift items greater than 75lbs with assistance.
