Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a small team of direct reports-assign priorities, remove roadblocks, and coach day-to-day execution to deliver new products and improvements on schedule.
  • Serve as the resident expert on internal manufacturing process capabilities to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
  • Lead engineering projects that support the broader product portfolio and business strategy-owning scope, timing, risk, and technical outcomes.
  • Create, read, and interpret engineering drawings to drive clear specifications and effective design intent.
  • Manage the product lifecycle including design, prototyping, testing, and PPAP-driving disciplined execution and strong technical documentation.
  • Represent Product Engineering in cross-functional problem solving and continuous improvement to improve quality, cost, and speed-to-market.
  • Support customers, suppliers, and internal teams with technical information-serving as the engineering point of contact for product/process quality concerns and maintaining regular supplier communication.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in Product Engineering.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of automotive components.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD tools-preferably Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
  • Experience managing product lifecycle from concept through launch.
  • Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage workload in a team environment.
