Guides students through interpreting patient histories and physical findings, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, selecting first-line treatments, and recognizing emergency presentations. Emphasizes system-based review and high-yield clinical associations for the most frequently tested conditions and their management.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with PANCE content blueprint and common challenges such as cardiovascular and pulmonary system complexity, pharmacology breadth, and distinguishing similar clinical presentations. Adapts instruction using NCCPA practice examinations, system-based review materials, and clinical case analysis to support physician assistant graduates preparing for initial PANCE certification.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
