About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and execute customer and internal projects from order intake through production, delivery, and close-out. In this highly visible role, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality, cost, and customer expectations.

This position acts as the primary execution leader across U.S. and China teams, driving accountability, communication, standardization, and continuous improvement in all aspects of project delivery.

What Youll Do

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Lead the full project lifecycle from customer order through final delivery and close-out.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, plans, and risk registers.
  • Ensure all milestones, engineering releases, production schedules, and logistics timelines are met.
  • Facilitate customer and internal kick-off, progress, and close-out meetings.
  • Identify and proactively resolve risks impacting cost, quality, or delivery.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the central coordination point between Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Finance.
  • Lead daily and weekly execution reviews across U.S. and China teams.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent information flow among stakeholders.

Process & Governance

  • Implement standardized project management processes, tools, templates, and reporting.
  • Maintain consistent use of risk registers, kick-off checklists, and close-out documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in pre-production, engineering, scheduling, and hand-offs.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce delays, improve cycle times, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Partner with IT to enhance project management systems and reporting tools.

Team Leadership

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and maintain team accountability.
  • Lead weekly U.S./China project management operating meetings.

What Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 710+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, industrial, EPC, or technical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, engineering hand-offs, and logistics.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
  • Experience with ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.

Work Environment & Travel

  • Office-based role with up to 25% travel to customer sites or events.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
