Job description

About the Role:

You will meet strategic goals as it relates to workplace solutions, facilities and operations, and occupancy strategy. You will develop best practices to improve organizational efficiencies, reduce occupancy cost and improve space requirements, increase employee engagement, and satisfaction. You will help with creating a culture that adapts to the changing nature of work and needs of the business. You will report to the Lead Manager - Workplace and Facilities. We base this role on-site in our NY offices.

You Will:

  • Manage local workplace and facilities operations in the New York and Ewing, New Jersey facilities. Ensure exceptional experiences for all staff and visitors.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and lease obligations.
  • Help develop the Association's regional property and facilities strategies.
  • Manage ongoing facilities projects including and not limited to renovations, space reconfiguration, property surrenders.
  • Negotiate contracts with facility vendors (including general contractors, architects, cleaning and maintenance, and food services).
  • Manage shipping and receiving operations in the New York facility
  • Manage facility communications including ongoing regular communications and situation-specific alerts.
  • Facilitate and support on site meetings, town halls, and workplace events, including coordination of room reservations, room configuration and set up, catering logistics and day-of operational support.
  • Manage building access control processes, including coordination of employee, visitor, and vendor access badges with security protocols and local requirements.
  • Process facilities related purchase requisitions and purchase orders, including supporting documentation, vendor coordination, and agreement on approved budgets and procurement policies.
  • Track and reconcile facilities and event related expenses, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in facilities management, corporate real estate, project or operations management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

The salary range for the role is $90,000 - $105,000 per year. There is no non-wage compensation.
