Job description

Our client is seeking a polished Workplace Experience Coordinator for the headquarters of a premier tech company in Norwalk. This role balances front-of-house hospitality and daily office operations to deliver an elevated experience for employees, executives, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a professional front-of-house experience by welcoming visitors, managing reception activities, and directing inquiries
  • Coordinate visitor access, shipments, office inventory, and administrative records
  • Prepare meeting rooms, event spaces, catering, seating, and audiovisual logistics to support meetings and corporate events
  • Facilitate internal events, onboarding sessions, town halls, executive meetings, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Inspect office facilities, coordinate maintenance and repairs, and ensure a clean, safe, and functional workplace
  • Administer office supply inventories, vendor relationships, workplace service requests, and occupancy reporting
  • Support sustainability initiatives, operational improvements, and workplace cost-saving efforts
  • Promote compliance with health, safety, and emergency preparedness programs, including participation in incident response activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to maintain seamless day-to-day workplace operations
  • Execute special projects and additional administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient office and workplace services

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in high-end hospitality, premium retail management, corporate reception, or office operations
  • Degree preferred, or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Business Administration, or Corporate Services (specialized engineering or technical facilities degrees are not required)
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ), polished executive presence, and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume corporate spaces or complex office layouts
  • Proficient in Google Suite and adaptable to learning internal workplace ticketing systems
