JOB SUMMARY
The Well intervention Supervisor supervises wellwork and intervention operations for any of the following including but not limited to: fracturing, coiled tubing, well testing, slickline / wireline operations and other pumping operations required for surface abandonment and freeze protection. This position collaborates on the Operator's completion plan, handling various aspects of workover/completions assignments and assists in preparing completion, well testing and well intervention procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Supervise wellwork and intervention operations.
  • Collaborate on the Operator's completion plan.
  • Handles various aspects of workover/completions assignments.
  • Assists in preparing completion, well testing and well intervention procedures.
  • Works closely with HSE, town-based Completions Engineering and logistics to ensure an effective and safe work program.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Current/Valid driver's license
  • 10+ years of Intervention experience
  • Current/valid Well Control certificate or could obtain a Well Control certificate upon hire
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience using WellView daily reporting system
  • Experience with simultaneous operations
  • High angle / horizontal well intervention experience

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have its own accommodation and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands and work environment requirements outlined below are representative of those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. A post-offer, pre-hire Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to ensure an employee's ability to safely meet job standards. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. Candidates must be able to comply with the ASRC Energy Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, successfully pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both urinalysis and hair testing, and meet the physical requirements of working in a remote location under arctic conditions. In addition, candidates will be required to pass a Fit-for-Duty Exam, complete a background check, and obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
