Job description

Salary: $20-25 per hour

RDR is seeking a Water Transfer Rig Up-Construction laborer to round out our Utility Line Repair and Maintenance Division.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with crew installing pumps, valves, and fittings, to complete job tasks to company and customer standards.
  • Turn in time sheets, JSAs, and equipment/vehicle inspections daily and report all deficiencies to Foreman and/or Superintendent.
  • Work with Tele Handler, Skid Steer, Excavators, and Dozers.
  • Load and unload equipment and materials from trucks and trailers with the use of proper rigging tools and lifting techniques.
  • Install Water Transfer Pumps, Valves, Fittings, and Pig Launchers/Receivers to company, customer, and industry standards.
  • Operate any and all equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance and a safer work environment.
  • Ensure company equipment and material is used properly, maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.


Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in Water Transfer Construction Rig up and Pigging of Water Lines (Preferred but not required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
  • Punctual, Positive Attitude, and Good Communication Skills (Verbally and Written)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Pride in workmanship
  • Safe Land, Ability to operate Tele Handlers, Skid Steers, Excavators and Dozers.
  • Oil & Gas Experience
  • Ability to read and understand plans, identify HDPE pipe and fittings used in the Water Transfer Construction of sites
  • Leadership capabilities
  • Strong Safety Commitment
