POSITION OVERVIEW<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Under the direction of the Supervisor of the Blood Tribe Youth Ranch, you will work with a team in the delivery of treatment based, residential programs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

    \n
  • Provide individual and group support to youth in a treatment\-based residential setting, including case management and behaviour management.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Develop, implement, and participate in structured and unstructured programming and daily activities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Liaise effectively with involved professionals and significant family members.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Attend and participate in regular staff meetings.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Maintain the residential facility, including cleaning and meal preparation as required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including daily logs, intake reports, treatment plans, progress reports, summaries, and treatment team meeting minutes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and residential program standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n

  • Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with team members.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

    QUALIFICATIONS<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>\n

    • Post\-secondary degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care or a related field.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>\n

    • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>\n

    • Successful completion of CYIM\/CSIS check and Criminal Record Check.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n

      KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Ability to develop, plan, and organize programming aligned with program goals and objectives.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Knowledge of Blackfoot language and culture is considered an asset.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Ability to work effectively in a team\-based residential environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Knowledge of behaviour management and youth support practices.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Sound judgment and decision\-making skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Ability to build rapport with youth while maintaining professional boundaries.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Strong documentation and organizational skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/p><\/li>\n

      • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
