We are currently seeking a compassionate, organized, and team-oriented Medical Social Worker (MSW) to join us on a per-diem basis for the South Bay area.

Compensation & Benefits

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial evaluations during the admission process to assess the patient's psychosocial status.

  • Identify socioeconomic and emotional factors that may impact the patient's treatment plan.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.

  • Consult directly with attending physicians regarding any necessary changes to treatment.

  • Maintain and submit accurate, timely clinical documentation (evaluations, care plans, progress notes).

  • Provide monthly supervision to the social work assistant.

Requirements
  • Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in California.

  • Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Coverage Area: South Bay and surrounding communities.
