Embrace the opportunity to make a meaningful difference as a school-based Social Worker on a contract assignment. Two full-time positions are available, both based in a vibrant Connecticut community. If you bring compassion, adaptability, and expertise to your practice, you’ll play a valuable role supporting students and staff in an educational environment.

Openings include:

1st Position:

  • High school caseload
  • Assignment dates: August 31, 2026 – October 9, 2026
  • 35 hours/week, Monday-Friday

2nd Position:

  • Elementary caseload
  • Assignment dates: August 31, 2026 – September 30, 2026
  • 35 hours/week, Monday-Friday
  • Potential for extension

Key Qualifications:

  • Active licensure/certification with CT DPH and CT (071)
  • Demonstrated school-based experience as a Social Worker
  • Confident working independently and efficiently with short-term assignments
  • Skilled in conducting comprehensive social-emotional and behavioral evaluations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Onsite availability (no virtual options)
  • Prepared to provide licensure/certification upon application

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations for student support and programming
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs
