Job description

We are looking for a hard-working, Crew Leader Foreman too join our team. You must have at least one year of construction experience, working with concrete & asphalt. Our ideal candidate is proficient with a paver & finishing concrete, power trowel, and has experience with rebar and steel plates. You also need to communicate effectively on a team. Because this job is physically demanding, you need to have good physical stamina, the endurance to work in all weather conditions, and the strength to lift up to 50 pounds.

Working Foreman Duties and Responsibilities

  • Run a paver & finish concrete
  • Review project plans and location of the concrete & asphalt
  • Gather and inspect equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Install rebar or concrete forms as needed
  • Communicate with the concrete team about the timing and completion of each phase of the project
  • Use power trowels and vibrating screeds to smooth freshly poured concrete
  • Have some experience running a paver
  • Check the finished product to make sure it meets specifications
  • Follow all industry and governmental safety protocols
  • Maintain equipment and make repairs when necessary

Working Foreman Requirements and Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • CDL CLASS A OR B IS A BONUS
  • Familiar with proper handling of materials and equipment
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • A flexible schedule is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
