Job description

Live-In Caregiver Position

We are currently seeking a dependable, caring, and responsible individual to join our team as a Live-In Caregiver. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, is looking for stable employment, and would benefit from having a place to live while working.

This can be a great opportunity for a recent high school graduate, someone beginning their career, or an individual who needs stable housing and is interested in gaining experience in the caregiving field. Training will be provided. We also have other shift available.

Compensation & Housing

  • Pay: $1,600 per month
  • Housing is provided as part of the live-in position
  • Stable monthly income

Job Responsibilities

The caregiver will assist residents with their daily routines while encouraging independence and maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful home environment. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities as needed
  • Providing reminders for personal hygiene and daily routines
  • Providing medication reminders and documenting medication according to company procedures
  • Preparing or assisting with meals
  • Encouraging residents to complete household responsibilities
  • Assisting with light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, dishes, trash, and maintaining common areas
  • Providing supervision and ensuring the safety of residents
  • Helping residents participate in appropriate recreational and community activities
  • Communicating professionally with residents, staff, supervisors, and other members of the care team
  • Completing daily documentation and reporting important changes or concerns
  • Following all house rules, safety procedures, confidentiality requirements, and company policies
  • Responding appropriately to resident needs and notifying management of incidents or emergencies
  • Maintaining professional boundaries while treating all residents with dignity and respect

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; recent high school graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Must be responsible, patient, respectful, and dependable
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff
  • Must be willing to learn and follow instructions
  • Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required
  • Must be able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries
  • Must be comfortable working in a residential setting
  • Must meet all applicable employment, background-check, training, and certification requirements
