Property Manager

Location: Indianapolis, IN (On-Site)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $48,000 $52,000

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to lead leasing and property operations for a 55+ independent senior living apartment community in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization and play a key role in building a high-quality residential experience for our client's residents.

The Property Manager will be responsible for driving occupancy, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth day-to-day property operations. This role requires a professional who is both resident-focused and operationally strong, with the ability to lead leasing efforts and oversee maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full leasing lifecycle, from inquiry to move-in
  • Conduct professional on-site tours and community presentations
  • Maintain timely and effective follow-up with prospective residents
  • Process rental applications, screenings, and required documentation
  • Oversee maintenance staff and coordinate daily maintenance operations
  • Ensure timely entry, tracking, and follow-up of maintenance requests
  • Address resident concerns and resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally
  • Promote a positive living environment and resident satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company policies
Qualifications
  • Proven sales and customer service experience
  • Prior leasing or property management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage maintenance coordination and operational tasks
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience with administrative or legal documentation related to property management is a plus
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized, dependable, and service-oriented
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $48,000 $52,000
