Job Description
The Opportunity:
Flywire is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Program Manager to lead critical Workday initiatives supporting our ongoing Workday Recruiting implementation and broader Workday ecosystem. This individual will serve as the program lead responsible for overseeing Workday HCM integrations, Advanced Compensation (ACM), business process optimization, testing, governance, security, reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
This is a highly visible role requiring a proven Workday leader who has successfully delivered enterprise-scale Workday implementations and integrations while partnering across HR, Total Rewards, People Operations, Finance, IT, and executive leadership teams.
This engagement will play a critical role in ensuring Flywire maximizes value from Workday while driving operational excellence, scalability, and adoption across our global workforce. This job description is based on Flywire's standard template and structure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday initiatives including HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Advanced Compensation (ACM), Security, Reporting, and Integrations.
  • Serve as the primary program leader responsible for execution, governance, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner closely with People Operations, Total Rewards, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and IT teams.
  • Drive Workday Advanced Compensation (ACM) configuration, testing, governance, annual compensation cycles, merit planning, bonus planning, and compensation process optimization.
  • Lead Workday integration strategy and execution across internal and third-party systems.
  • Manage EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Prism Analytics, and integration troubleshooting efforts.
  • Oversee system testing including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production readiness activities.
  • Ensure data integrity across Workday through validation, reconciliation, auditing, and governance controls.
  • Assess and optimize business processes to improve scalability, efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
  • Develop executive-level status reporting, steering committee updates, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Drive change management, stakeholder adoption, training, and communication plans.
  • Establish sustainable governance processes and operational support models following implementation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership regarding Workday roadmap, enhancements, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Workday experience with at least 5+ years leading enterprise Workday programs.
  • Proven experience leading Workday HCM implementations and post-production optimization efforts.
