JOB DESCRIPTION - US Workforce Management (WFM) Lead
Project Sakura | KDP COU
Location: This role will be based out of our Burlington, MA office in a hybrid capacity or anywhere in US, Remote
POSITION SUMMARY
The US WFM (Workforce Management) Lead is responsible for the successful deployment and adoption of UKG Workforce Management capabilities supporting manufacturing and office hourly workers across KDP COU in the United States.
The role leads the US WFM Subject Matter Expert (SME) team and works closely with the Global WFM Lead, HR, Payroll, Operations, Time & Attendance (T&A) workstream, Payroll workstream, business stakeholders, and implementation partners to ensure the solution supports business needs, enables accurate payroll calculations, and aligns with global Sakura standards.
The role remains actively involved throughout the project lifecycle, including solution validation, testing, deployment readiness, training, hypercare support, and business stabilization activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
US Workforce Management Leadership
  • Lead the Workforce Management workstream for the United States.
  • Act as the primary US counterpart to the Global WFM Lead.
  • Lead and coordinate local WFM SMEs and business representatives.
  • Represent US business requirements, risks, issues, and decisions within the global project team.
  • Ensure alignment between global Sakura standards and local operational requirements.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement across Operations, HR, Payroll, Workforce Planning, and business leadership teams.

Solution Design & Process Validation
  • Represent the needs of US manufacturing and office hourly workers within the Global Workforce Management workstream, with close collaboration with the Time & Attendance workstream for office hourly worker requirements and the Payroll workstream to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
  • Review and validate UKG Workforce Management solution designs covering Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Labor Management, Workforce Planning, Overtime Management, Shift Management, and Absence processes.
  • Support adoption and optimization of existing UKG Workforce Management capabilities within Keurig operations.
  • Lead business review and validation activities for new Time & Attendance and Scheduling capabilities being introduced for Peet's operations.
  • Ensure business requirements, labor rules, attendance policies, operational practices, and compliance requirements are addressed.
  • Support fit-to-standard workshops and solution design reviews.

Testing & Deployment Readiness
  • Lead UKG Workforce Management testing activities across the United States.
  • Coordinate participation of local SMEs, supervisors, payroll teams, planners, managers, and business representatives.
  • Actively participate in SIT (Systems Integration Test), UAT (User Acceptance Test), End-to-End, Payroll Integration, and deployment testing activities.
  • Validate Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Workforce Planning, overtime, absence management, and payroll integration processes in close collaboration with the Payroll workstream to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
  • Support defect triage, issue resolution, retesting, and business sign-off activities.
  • Lead workforce-related data validation activities.
  • Support cutover planning, deployment readiness, and go-live execution.

Training & Business Readiness
  • Lead UKG Workforce Management readiness activities across impacted business functions.
  • Build and lead a network of WFM SMEs and local champions.
  • Support development and delivery of training materials, workshops, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
  • Ensure managers, supervisors, planners, HR teams, payroll teams, and business users are prepared to operate in the future-state environment.
  • Drive successful adoption of UKG Workforce Management processes and tools across the organization.

Hypercare & Stabilization
  • Lead Workforce Management support activities during hypercare and stabilization period following go-live.
  • Coordinate SME support and issue resolution activities during the interim operational support phase.
  • Monitor solution adoption, operational readiness, workforce process effectiveness, and user experience.
  • Partner with Global WFM, IT, Payroll, the Payroll workstream, and implementation partners to resolve business-critical issues and support accurate payroll calculation outcomes.
  • Support business teams until steady-state support structures are fully established.
  • Ensure successful transition from project support into business-as-usual operations.
  • Other Responsibilities may include
  • HRBP support for US Manufacturing locations, or client groups, including but not limited to deployment of new initiatives, investigations, project work etc
  • Represent US Manufacturing locations on additional transformation projects

ACCOUNTABILITIES
The US Workforce Management Lead is accountable for:
  • Successful deployment of UKG Workforce Management capabilities supporting US manufacturing and office hourly workers, including close alignment with the Time & Attendance workstream for office hourly worker requirements and the Payroll workstream to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
  • Leadership and coordination of the US WFM SME network.
  • Successful implementation of Time & Attendance and Scheduling capabilities across impacted business functions.
  • Adoption of UKG Workforce Management processes and tools across the organization.
  • Completion of testing, deployment, cutover, and go-live readiness activities.
  • Training and readiness of managers, supervisors, planners, payroll teams, and business users.
  • Successful execution of hypercare and stabilization activities.
  • Transition to future-state business operations and support structures.
  • Delivery of Sakura milestones supporting KDP COU transformation objectives.

Total Rewards:
  • Salary Range: $96,800 - $140,000
  • Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors
  • Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement
  • Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in Workforce Management, Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Operations, HR Technology, Payroll, or Transformation Programs.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and office hourly workforce management processes, including where close collaboration with the Time & Attendance workstream is required for office hourly workers.
  • Experience with Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Labor Management, and Workforce Planning processes.
  • Experience leading SME teams and business workstreams within complex transformation programs.
  • Experience with testing, deployment, business readiness, and operational stabilization activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both business leaders and global project teams.
  • Hands-on approach with willingness to actively support testing, deployment, hypercare, and issue resolution activities.

Preferred
  • Experience with UKG Workforce Management or comparable platforms.
  • Experience supporting large manufacturing and office hourly employee populations.
  • Experience with Payroll and HCM integrations.
  • Experience in multi-site operational environments.
  • Experience supporting transformation, carve-out, or Transition Service Agreement (TSA) transition programs.
