As an Employer, we offer an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our growing, "Best- In- Class" Team, in the automotive industry today. We believe that our people are what makes us great and strive to offer our employees opportunities for advancement.
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Shift Supervisor. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be the tactical leader on your shift-organizing resources, empowering teams, and ensuring our products are built safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
If you are a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to build a positive, high-performing team culture, we want you on our team. This role offers a consistent, fixed schedule from Monday through Friday, with no shift rotation required.
A. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all produced parts strictly meet approved "First-off" specifications and conform to established quality standards. Verify that all processes remain stable and operate within the tolerances outlined in the QIR.
  • Off-Shift Leadership: Direct and oversee all personnel during off-shifts. Assign, organize, and manage resources flexibly to support overriding production priorities, while ensuring all shift production report forms are filled out accurately.
  • Shop-Floor Culture & Housekeeping: Provide the dynamic leadership needed on the shop floor to ensure high productivity, strong team morale, and top-tier safety. Maintain a consistently high standard of housekeeping at all times, act as a key driver for continuous improvement changes, and ensure only fully trained individuals are assigned to work cells or plant duties.
  • HR Partnership & Workforce Management: Work closely with the Plant/Production Manager and Human Resource Manager to ensure appropriate skills are being hired, robust training is conducted, and proper disciplinary actions are taken to control absenteeism and unacceptable conduct.
  • Process Enforcement: Rigorously enforce all required corporate procedures for Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, and Production Control.
  • Asset Maintenance: Ensure all required preventive maintenance protocols are rigorously carried out on tools and equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.

B. Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12).

C. Required Skills
  • Material Literacy: Strong understanding of manufacturing materials and their properties.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot bottlenecks and resolve operational issues under pressure.
  • Systems Compliance: Solid understanding of key Quality and Environmental Management Systems procedures related to the job function.
