About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students across multiple school settings in Killeen, TX. In this role, you will collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and special education teams to develop and implement behavioral support strategies that promote student success.

The BCBA will work with students of all ages, providing behavioral assessments, intervention planning, staff training, and consultation services while ensuring compliance with educational and behavioral best practices.

Key Responsibilities

?? Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for students exhibiting challenging behaviors.

?? Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

?? Analyze behavioral data and make recommendations using evidence-based ABA practices.

?? Provide consultation and coaching to teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.

?? Support students receiving Special Education services, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.

?? Train campus staff in ABA principles, crisis prevention, de-escalation techniques, and behavior management strategies.

?? Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide behavioral recommendations.

?? Collaborate with parents, school psychologists, counselors, and multidisciplinary teams.

?? Ensure compliance with IDEA, Texas Education Code requirements, and district policies.

QualificationsRequired

?? Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the BACB

?? Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field

?? Strong knowledge of ABA principles and behavioral intervention strategies

?? Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary educational teams

?? Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

?? Must be at least 18 years of age

? School-based BCBA experience

? Experience developing and implementing behavior analytic programs

Minimum Requirements:  

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field
  • Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools
  • One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
