We license software to help manage medical programs, particularly the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) Program required by CMS for Medicare Part D. We also offer outsourced MTM services, utilizing our team of pharmacists, clinicians, and support staff to conduct Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMRs) for our clients' members. As a Workforce Planning Manager, you will support the design, implementation, and optimization of Workforce Management (WFM) systems and processes. This role is responsible for delivering workforce planning initiatives, maintaining and enhancing WFM tools, and driving data-informed labor strategies. You will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to improve staffing, scheduling, and operational efficiency.
 
 
Location: Remote or Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 (Exempt)
Schedule: 9AM – 5PM EST (Flexible with business needs)

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage the Workforce Management System to ensure successful implementation of strategy and project plans within established deadlines.
  • Own labor hours and staffing forecasting models for a defined functional area, leveraging transactional data and time standards to ensure forecasts align with business-specific needs.
  • Coordinate internal Time and Motion studies for office processes to ensure current processes are accounted for and new processes are correctly measured and reflected in the Labor Model.
  • Model the fiscal impact of Workforce Management results, evaluate seasonal fluctuations and assess the need to adjust productivity scales.
  • Partner with Operations to support workload planning and task assignments; leverage Workforce Management to support the task management platform.
  • Build strong relationships with Operations, Business Intelligence, and HR teams to proactively address friction points and/or opportunities.
  • Support project rollout strategies by developing training plans that are intuitive to execute, which will drive adoption and effectiveness throughout the life cycle of the Workforce Management System.
  • Demonstrate the ability to represent the end user perspective when considering systemic changes.
  • Own the development, execution, and maintenance of training documentation and operations manuals for operational and system changes, while partnering with support teams to deliver system training to end-users.
  • Support the creation of labor reporting for leaders to ensure they have the data to manage payroll, staffing, scheduling optimization, and productivity.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including performance oversight, issue resolution, and accountability for system enhancements and deliverables.
  • Support of projects and objectives as assigned.
  • The ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer  
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
 
Skills + Abilities: 
  • 6+ years of experience in Workforce Management, Operations, Project Management, and Analytics.
  • Experience conducting Time and Motion studies and applying findings to labor modeling.
  • Expertise with Workforce Management platforms (e.g., NICE, Verint, Genesys).
  • Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable insights and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in healthcare and/or call center environments, with a focus on solving complex labor and scheduling challenges.
  • Natural curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify opportunities and drive business improvements.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Exceptional customer service mindset with a focus on internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output.
