Position Overview: This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care and leadership within a collaborative healthcare team. The Registered Nurse (RN) will support patients across all ages and backgrounds by assessing, planning, and coordinating care while providing physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain clinical competency and accurately identify patient issues for all age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
  • Recognize changes in patient conditions, adjust care plans accordingly, and monitor outcomes.
  • Perform thorough assessments and apply critical thinking to interpret data and respond effectively.
  • Communicate relevant information to the healthcare team promptly.
  • Develop and update individualized nursing care plans daily and as needed.
  • Administer medications following pharmacy and manufacturer guidelines, adhering to all policies and procedures.
  • Follow physician orders accurately and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize patient care efficiently, demonstrating maturity, stability, and flexibility under stress.
  • Manage equipment and supplies based on patient needs, ensuring the department remains organized and well-stocked.
  • Charge appropriately for supplies and treatments.
  • Work scheduled hours with flexibility to accommodate extra shifts when necessary.
  • Adapt to assignment changes with minimal disruption, potentially including respiratory, physical, or occupational therapy support.
Education and Certifications:
  • Registered Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the relevant state.
  • BLS (CPR) certification required or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 1 year (NRP not required for Surgical RN-Advanced).
  • For Emergency Room specialization, completion of TNCC is necessary.
