  • Cultivate relationships with companies, brokers, site selectors, business improvement districts (BIDs), industrial business zones (IBZs), chambers of commerce, industry organizations, and international partners to generate new leads and expand NYCEDC's pipeline.
  • Coordinate with local, state, and international partners, including diplomatic missions and trade organizations, to support business attraction, foreign direct investment, and NYC promotion efforts.
  • Represent NYCEDC at industry conferences, networking events, trade missions, panels, stakeholder gatherings, and business meetings to promote NYC as a destination for business growth and investment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of relevant experience in business development, commercial or industrial real estate, economic development, brokerage, international trade, local economic development, or a related field.

  • Experience using CRM tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce, and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is preferred.
