Job description

Our client, an industry leader in food manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Worker - Heavy Lifter to join their team. As a Production Worker - Heavy Lifter, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing process supporting the production line. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Production Worker

Location: Wilmington & Haverhill, MA

Pay Rate: $17 an hour

Shift: 2nd shift - 8 hour shift between 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM
*** Please note: This role involves working in a cold-temperature environment.

What's the Job?

  • Operate equipment to assist with food manufacturing, assembly, and packaging processes
  • Rotate between various production tasks including assembly, rolling, and packing croissants and sandwiches
  • Monitor products for quality and foreign materials, notifying supervisors of any issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to GMP policies and safety standards
  • Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical or material issues on the production line

What's Needed?

  • No prior experience required; training provided
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work in various areas of production as needed
  • Ability to tolerate temperature variations, including cold and hot conditions
  • Must pass drug and background screenings
