Come join our Healthcare Financials functional consulting team as a Financial Implementation Consultant and bring industry leading Workday solutions to healthcare organizations through this high-impact role. This isn't a passive, behind-the-scenes job. You'll be front and center with customers, taking on complex operational challenges and designing solutions within the Workday Financial Management system to transform how health systems operate. About the Role

As an experienced financial functional consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of Workday's financial solutions for our healthcare customers and guiding them through transforming their financial operations. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and inclusive team, collaborating with sales, project management, product, and fellow consultants to deliver outstanding results using the latest deployment and AI tools. You will provide Workday product, healthcare industry, and implementation expertise by serving as an architect and advisor while ensuring the financial solutions alignment with other functional areas in the Workday product platform.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Contribute and help maintain healthcare standard practices to reflect new industry requirements and trends.

  • Determine customer requirements and design and build tailored Workday financial solutions

  • Demonstrate the designed solutions to key stakeholders throughout the deployment lifecycle while guiding and supporting customer testing.

  • Participate in updated training and other events that help share one's product and industry skills with other consultants.

  • Partner with the project management by providing status reports and keep them informed of overall project status.

  • Participant in customer prospect discovery sessions

  • Mentor less experienced consultants

About You

  • Basic Qualifications: P4 (Senior Consultant)
  • 5+ years of implementation or functional experience with Workday Financial Management software solutions

  • 5+ years of consulting experience

  • Experience with General Ledger along with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, and Capital Projects

Basic Qualifications: P5 (Principal Consultant)

  • 7+ years of implementation or functional experience with Workday Financial Management software solutions

  • 7+ years of consulting experience

  • Experience with General Ledger along with one or more of the following: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Expense Management, Cash Management, and Capital Projects

Other Qualifications

  • 5+ years of financial consulting experience with at least 3 full-cycle healthcare industry implementations OR 5+ years of financial or accounting operational experience in healthcare organizations.

  • Passion for customer service and project management experience

  • Experience leading the Workday Foundation Data Model (FDM) design and at least 2 other Workday financial areas during a project deployment is preferred

  • Workday Accounting Center experience is a plus.

  • Ability to connect with all levels of customer/prospect leadership

  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.

  • Passionate about using AI technology to improve efficiency and streamline deployments.

  • Experience guiding customers through AI adoption is a plus.

  • Experience with multiple financial applications

  • Ability to balance multiple project engagements at a time

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - preferably in Finance or Accounting

  • Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic overnight)

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
