Our team thrives on solving complex business challenges, sharing best practices, and continuously building expertise in leading payroll technologies and methodologies.## **About the Role**As a Payroll Functional Consultant at Three Link, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients guiding them through the implementation, configuration, and optimization of payroll systems that support efficient and accurate payroll operations. You will work directly with clients to understand their business challenges, translate requirements into technical and functional solutions, and ensure a smooth transition to optimized payroll processes.You will be an expert in Workday Payroll solution design, providing hands-on support from discovery through deployment. Your role will include system configuration, testing support, data conversion assistance, training, and knowledge transfer so that clients can confidently operate their payroll systems post-go-live.**Key Responsibilities Include:*** Lead client discovery and requirements gathering to understand current payroll processes, business rules, and desired outcomes.* Configure payroll solutions to meet defined business requirements and best practice standards.* Partner with data conversion teams to support accurate migration of legacy payroll data.* Assist with end-to-end and parallel testing and validation of payroll configurations, ensuring system accuracy and performance.* Serve as a payroll subject matter expert, answering questions and advising on optimal configuration and process decisions.* Communicate project status, risks, and key decisions to internal stakeholders and client leadership.* Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.* Identify opportunities for additional services and enhancements that support client goals.## **Qualifications****Required Qualifications:*** **8+ years** of experience in **Workday Payroll implementation**, consulting, or systems configuration with a strong focus on payroll solutions.* Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.* Workday Payroll certification.* Strong functional knowledge of payroll operations and payroll system logic, including calculations, tax rules, deductions, and reporting.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience with one or more major payroll or HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, Oracle, SAP, Paychex) with configuration experience.* Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or related field.* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.* Experience developing training materials and leading client workshops.* Familiarity with integration design, Excel tools, testing methodologies, and data conversion best practices. **Equal Opportunity Employer**Three Link Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
