Job Title: Workday Finance Integration Engineer
Location: Detroit, ME (100% On-site)
Duration: 6 Months
Role Summary:
The Workday Finance Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Workday Financials integrations with a strong focus on Prism Analytics. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, financial acumen, and product ownership to drive integration strategy, deliver insights, and ensure system reliability across Finance and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Workday Financial integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Manage and optimize Workday Prism Analytics for financial reporting, dashboards, and data insights.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into Workday solutions.
  • Own the Workday Finance product roadmap, prioritizing backlog items and defining user stories for enhancement delivery.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other systems while maintaining compliance with financial regulations and audit standards.
  • Oversee Workday release management, tenant refreshes, and change control processes.
  • Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues with support teams.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Workday experience, including 4+ years in Workday Finance integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Financials modules - Accounting, Procurement, and Expenses.
  • Proven experience with Workday Prism Analytics for reporting and insights.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Workday Certifications in Finance and/or Integrations.
  • Experience with Workday Extend or third-party system integrations.
  • Knowledge of financial data security, compliance, and audit processes.
