Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Workday Absence/Benefits Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, FL to provide operational support for benefits administration, retirement programs, and daily absence management activities. This role will focus heavily on PTO administration, benefits data validation, retirement plan support, auditing activities, and Workday transactions.
Responsibilities:
* Administer employee benefits programs and retirement plans
* Support 401(k) and retirement-related audits and reconciliation activities
* Process and resolve PTO corrections, updates, and employee inquiries
* Perform benefits and absence data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Validate employee data following a recent HR system implementation
* Utilize Workday to research, update, and maintain employee records
* Support benefits projects and operational initiatives
* Generate reports and analyze large datasets using Excel and Workday
* Investigate discrepancies and partner with internal stakeholders to resolve issues
* Assist with ongoing process improvements and documentation efforts
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of Benefits Administration, HR Operations, or Leave Administration experience
* Experience supporting retirement programs and/or 401(k) plans
* Workday user experience within HR, Benefits, or Absence functions
* Strong auditing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience reviewing and validating large datasets
* Ability to work independently with limited training
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting Workday post-implementation environments
* Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume HR environment
* Knowledge of absence management and PTO administration
* Familiarity with benefits compliance and retirement plan administration
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
