JOB TITLE: (3) Work Study Students
DEPARTMENT: Buildings and Grounds
SALARY GRADE: $15.92/Hour
Electrician:
Will assist with troubleshooting and installing 120-277 VAC electrical systems to include receptacles, general purpose lighting and emergencfy lighting.
Low Voltage Electrician:
Will assist with repairing/installing/inspecting Fire and Burglar alarms, clock and intercom systems, video entry door systems and sound systems.
Plumbing:
Will assist with troubleshooting and installing water/steam systems. Locate and idetify the source of water and steam leaks. Work with the plumber to assess plumbing problems and repair them. Cut and install new pipes and repair old pipes.
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC):
Will assist with troubleshooting and installing heating and cooling systems to include changing filters/belots and motors. Will learn Building Management Software programs that manage district wide heating/cooling.
General Maintenance:
Will assist with repairing/installing sheetrock/flooring and ceiling systems. Repairing door hardware to include door closers, hinges, locks and keys. Painting and spackling.
Grounds:
Will assist with lawn maintenance, sport field line markings, small engine service repair.
