  • Provide support to the Department of Materials Management by performing routine tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Verify receipt of goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Fill stock internal requisitions.
  • Drive a delivery van and make deliveries to campus departments.
  • Pick up and deliver mail to the Americus Post Office as needed.
  • Pick up large packages for express shipping via UPS, DHL, and FedEx.
  • Pick up P-Card orders from local vendors that do not deliver to campus.
  • Restock warehouse shelves with goods.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, including occasional sweeping.
  • Perform limited clerical duties, including filing and answering phones.
  • Assist with random inventory counts.
  • Assist with decaling property inventory equipment.
  • Assist with recording surplus property for disposal.
