Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

This position is eligible for a sign-on of $5K!

FTE: 0.600

Standard Hours: 24.00

Shift: Shift 1

Shift Details: A week Mon-Fri, B week Sun, 8 hr shifts, shift start times ranging from 0645-0830

Holidays: No worked Holidays, 1 Holiday call per calendar year Weekends: Every other Sunday (B week)

Fluoroscopy
Ortho Clinic
GI Lab

Froedtert Surgery Center
Froedtert Bluemound Rehab Hospital

At the direction of a radiologist or other providers, prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred but not required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Self-motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well; ability to remain flexible and to reorganize priorities when emergencies arise.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
