Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR/Angio experience and proficiency in a wide range of special procedures including biopsies, ablations, and vascular studies.

Details
  • Interventional Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting
  • Daily caseload of approximately 25 patients
  • Procedures include stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral, drainage, abdominal and pelvic, upper/lower extremity, genitourinary, and vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram
  • PACS system used; Siemens equipment preferred
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AMโ€“5:30 PM or 7:30 AMโ€“6:00 PM with rotating days off
  • On-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
  • No floating within or to sister facilities
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of IR/Angio special procedures experience
  • Current ARRT certification and BLS
  • State license required if applicable
  • Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and biopsy procedures
  • Experience with the full scope of IR special procedures including stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, peripheral and vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram
  • Siemens equipment experience preferred
